El PMA ha conseguido distribuir alimentos para más de 400.000 personas durante las 120 horas de pausa, logrando llegar a áreas que eran previamente inaccesibles. Pero esto ha supuesto sólo la mitad de las 738.000 personas a las que se esperaban alcanzar.
Cuando la demanda de este servicio está llegando a su punto máximo, el mismo podría detenerse antes de finales de julio a menos que se pueda asegurar una financiación sustancial para mantener en movimiento la flota de transporte de WFP.
