Los equipos del Programa Mundial de Alimentos (WFP, por sus siglas en inglés) en el Caribe están evaluando los impactos del huracán Beryl que azotó Jamaica el miércoles por la tarde como un peligroso huracán de categoría 4.
Sin embargo, una organización entera no puede quedar maniatada e imposibilitada para cumplir con su mandato, que consiste en brindar asistencia a quienes más la necesitan.
Cientos de miles de personas han perdido su hogar y están en el umbral de la hambruna por los devastadores acontecimientos que han tenido lugar en Gaza desde el 7 de octubre.
Esta contribución marca un hito histórico, ya que es una de las primeras veces que Mongolia dona fondos a WFP, reafirmando así su solidaridad internacional y su compromiso con el Hambre Cero.

En noviembre de 2022, el huracán de la categoría 1 arrasó los invernaderos en la provincia de Cayo, Belice, donde ella y su esposo Ever tenían sus cultivos, como tomates y piñas.
