Los conflictos, las crisis económicas, los extremos climáticos y el alza del precio de los fertilizantes se combinan para crear una crisis alimentaria de proporciones nunca antes vistas. En 71 países, 309 millones de personas padecen hambre crónica.
Hambrientos, sedientos y débiles, cada vez más gazatíes caen enfermos, según un informe publicado esta semana.
Al menos el 90 % de los niños menores de 5 años están afectados por una o más enfermedades infecciosas, y el 70 % ha tenido diarrea en las últimas dos semanas, según un análisis del Global Nutrition Cluster.
