La situación actual en los mercados mundiales de los alimentos, caracterizada por un fuerte aumento en los precios del maíz, el trigo y la soja, ha hecho aumentar el temor de una repetición de la crisis alimentaria mundial de 2007-2008. Pero una actuación internacional rápida y coordinada puede evitar que eso suceda.
El Foro, que tendrá lugar el 29 y 30 de abril, reunirá a profesionales e instituciones nacionales e internacionales –entre ellos del Centro de Excelencia contra el Hambre del PMA y del Gobierno de Brasil—con el objetivo de intercambiar experiencias en materia de alimentación escolar en Honduras y en la región.
