La abanderada del PMA/WFP Nimdoma Sherpa ascendió 2.000 metros y superó la lluvia, la niebla, la dificultad de los caminos y empinadas subidas para llegar al pueblo de Kerauja, en el distrito de Gorkha, donde los miembros de la comunidad la recibieron y participaron en la ceremonia para plantar la bandera.
El conversatorio abordará temas relacionados con los desafíos climáticos y de suelos, y sus efectos en la seguridad alimentaria y nutricional y contará con la participación de Tatyana Orozco, Directora del DPS, Deborah Hines, Representante del PMA en Colombia y expertos en la materia.
Ella y su familia vivían una vida tranquila, sin embargo, esta se vio truncada a causa del acoso que sufrió su hija por parte de un miembro de un grupo armado.
