BAMAKO – Según un estudio interinstitucional, la economía de Malí está sufriendo pérdidas de 265.000 millones de francos CFA (450 millones de dólares) -más del 4% del PIB anual- debido a los efectos de la desnutrición infantil. El Coste del Hambre en Malí (COHA), atribuye las pérdidas al aumento de los costes de la atención sanitaria, a las cargas adicionales sobre el sistema educativo y, en menor medida, a la reducción de la productividad laboral.
